The Songsmith from Scudder

At 13, Stephen picked up his family's acoustic guitar in Vellore and learned his first chords from his mother. With no formal training, he copied chords from a classmate's notebook and taught himself - even when his hostel warden confiscated his guitar and let him play only on Sundays.

Shaped by Joe Satriani, Guns N' Roses, and Dream Theater, he now plays lead guitar with the band Adonai, writing music built around melodies that stay with people.
