David's adventure into luthiery began not with a grand plan but a practical need - rewinding pickups after his own had given out. With a background in electronics, curiosity soon turned into craft, and one repair led to a lifetime spent inside the body of a guitar.
Today, David's Guitar Clinic is known for a distinctive signature: a custom action on the fretboard that produces a beautifully warm tone, informed by inspirations ranging from Slash and Santana to Brian May. Every instrument that leaves his workshop carries a story - and some, like his most memorable build, carry a memory too.
